We are seeking for an enthusiastic, innovative, reliable, results and detailed oriented person who demonstrates the drive to achieve. Responsibilities involve a variety of tasks including, but not limited to strong analytical and technical expertise, capability to evaluate appropriate information/data, must be able to manage multiple processes and be organized. The candidate is required to show good judgment and critical thinking expertise. This position requires precise attention to detail, capable of interpreting and following specific instructions, strong communications expertise in written, oral form and you must be able to maintain a positive working relationship with internal departments and embrace teamwork by taking the initiative. Interpersonal expertise are required and the capability to handle stressful situations. You must be able to assist in the workflow of others to meet deadlines in a timely manner. This position will work under the supervision of the Director of Programming. The Programming department is a 24 hour a day department. After-hours work may be necessary at times. The tasks of a broadcast traffic coordinator revolve around organizing the break content for a television broadcast. As a broadcast traffic coordinator, your responsibilities will require you translate sales contracts into the sales module and schedule underwriting spots, on-air promotions, and programming so that the TV transmission has continuity. The Traffic Coordinator will work closely with each department, especially with Development and Membership. tasks will include the generation of the program logs for all four (4) channels that show when the programs and break material air all over each broadcast day. You will need to enter and update this information (and media assets at times) into a broadcast system via the software application ProTrack and the ProTrack Sales Advanced Module. The completed schedule logs will be pushed to Broadcast Operations servers. This position will also generate the everyday record schedule and push that schedule to the Broadcast Operations server and provide a print out to the department. Ultimately, you are responsible for checking and scheduling all production materials and content to ensure a seamless broadcast. TRAFFIC COORDINATOR Candidate must also have working expertise of Adobe Premiere as this position will also generate the everyday listings video for on-air broadcast.
